After a defensive mix-up in VALPICA C.F.'s zone, Cai Ocaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Ramos came out of the goal and Cai Ocaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute Iván Vila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reyes No scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Ramos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iván Vila took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Ramos. Rodrigo Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 19 played minutes VALPICA C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Jaume Castillo. After 27 minutes, Rey Guillotin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salud y República and the VALPICA C.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rey Guillotin hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Ocaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iván Vila took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Ramos. In the 35th minute, Iván Vila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salud y República fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Salud y República's Emilio Doblas suffered a sore foot after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Saturnin Gala charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnin Gala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Salud y República made a substitution. Roben Reyes replaced Emilio Doblas. In the 41st match minute, VALPICA C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnin Gala to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reyes No in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rodrigo Ramos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reyes No fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Ramos having to interfere. VALPICA C.F.'s Jaume Castillo got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. VALPICA C.F.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Reyes No scored to the left of an out of position Rodrigo Ramos, making the score, 0-6. VALPICA C.F.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Reyes No scored to the left of an out of position Rodrigo Ramos, making the score, 0-7. If Reyes No had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cai Ocaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Rodrigo Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of VALPICA C.F. booed when Salud y República was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cai Ocaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute Hernando De la Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Suciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salud y República's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
