Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcio Carreira started the match with the kick off. After 6 minutes, Venceslao Alonso made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sporting Tuga FC's Humberto Espírito Santo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Reinaldo Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frances Jaraba having to interfere. If Venceslao Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FCSB CUENCA's Frances Jaraba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save FCSB CUENCA from getting a goal against them. Frances Jaraba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Pimentel in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sporting Tuga FC's Patrício Tavares got a free kick in the 18th minute. FCSB CUENCA's Frances Jaraba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Lico in the 22nd minute of play. Frances Jaraba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Pimentel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélder Pimentel in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frances Jaraba saved FCSB CUENCA from getting behind. In the 25th minute Venceslao Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Espírito Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27thth minute of the game Hélder Pimentel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FCSB CUENCA's Frances Jaraba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Isaac Santalla in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sporting Tuga FC's Paulino Lico. Hélder Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uriel Gimeno kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Hélder Pimentel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38thth minute of the game Marcio Carreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Tuga FC's Humberto Espírito Santo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Sporting Tuga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Venceslao Alonso came free, but Humberto Espírito Santo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Uriel Gimeno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Matias got free with Frances Jaraba in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Eriz Ramis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Uriel Gimeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias Dobale's late challenge caught a Sporting Tuga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremias Dobale helped the player get up and apologised. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélder Pimentel to strike the kick off in the second half. FCSB CUENCA's Frances Jaraba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Borba in the 55th minute of play. Frances Jaraba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Lico, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Diego Caiado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frances Jaraba having to interfere. When Eusébio Taborda fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Tuga FC's protests and gave Eusébio Taborda a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sporting Tuga FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Eusébio Taborda hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Hélder Pimentel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Frances Jaraba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vicente Caiado kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Cipriano Morales took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Humberto Espírito Santo. Sporting Tuga FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Paulino Lico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Frances Jaraba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in FCSB CUENCA's zone, Reinaldo Borba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frances Jaraba came out of the goal and Reinaldo Borba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Sporting Tuga FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
