FC Bal op het Dak's Carsten Maurits played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksandar Haltinner in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes, Stayko Stratiev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ and the FC Bal op het Dak players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Stayko Stratiev got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute, Ernst Cakir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Ronald Lammens took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Wolfgang Domuzeti to make any attempt to save it. Carsten Maurits took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Possner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathan Kostermans in the 19th minute of play forced ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's goalkeeper Wolfgang Domuzeti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carsten Maurits came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Julian Possner. But to his dismay, Julian Possner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Wolfgang Domuzeti was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nathan Kostermans showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 24 minute of play. Carsten Maurits dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Wouter Spiering was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Wouter Spiering hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karol Dankowski, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aleksandar Haltinner made a kick off. Carsten Maurits showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Possner, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. If Julian Possner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the game, Nathan Kostermans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Wolfgang Domuzeti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leopold Nymann in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carsten Maurits saved FC Bal op het Dak from getting behind. After 58 minutes, Leopold Nymann made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. FC Bal op het Dak's Carsten Maurits tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Carsten Maurits stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Possner's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, FC Bal op het Dak's Carsten Maurits got control of the ball when Aleksandar Haltinner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wolfgang Domuzeti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronald Lammens's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karol Dankowski got free with Carsten Maurits in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carsten Maurits made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Possner in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Bal op het Dak's Carel Zuid got a free kick in the 76th minute. Julian Possner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Carsten Maurits tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Aleksandar Haltinner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carsten Maurits was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After some careless play in the ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ defense, Ricky Zuidema kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wolfgang Domuzeti. The ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wolfgang Domuzeti should have stopped the shot. Gert Jan Schutrups charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gert Jan Schutrups the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
