The audience was convinced that Emanuel Balaci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teo Dechamps was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After having played for 11 minutes, Emanuel Balaci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emanuel Balaci struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Teo Dechamps didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rondo. When Jurgen Winters came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Rondo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jurgen Winters couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Balaci in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo Dechamps saved Brakkies New Bastards from getting behind. When Rondo's Jurgen Winters in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brakkies New Bastards's goalie prevented a goal. Emanuel Balaci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teo Dechamps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Balaci, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Teo Dechamps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilco Timmerman in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Luka De Roeck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddy de Cijser made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Teo Dechamps successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 57th minute, Emanuel Balaci reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teo Dechamps. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 59th minute, Olof Huizinga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 62 minutes, Gilbert Van den Inde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A collision led to Brakkies New Bastards getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Gilbert Van den Inde hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Rondo's Teo Dechamps threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emanuel Balaci, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Rondo's Emanuel Balaci in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joeri Wilson couldn't finish the play. Rondo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
