In the 18th match minute, Smalbroek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaas Wegman to maneuver through the defense. Plamen Angelov's late challenge caught a Smalbroek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Plamen Angelov helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes ФК Априлци got a freekick which was hit by Plamen Angelov. Ilko Angelakiev, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dobrin Angov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Jaap Jochemsen made a huge save. Valentin Peyanski struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jaap Jochemsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ФК Априлци. 62 minutes into the match, Smalbroek's goal looked a bit too open when Stoyadin Tzúklev came free, but Jaap Jochemsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaap Jochemsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stoyadin Tzúklev in the 64th minute of the match. When Lachezar Ginkov fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ФК Априлци's protests and gave Lachezar Ginkov a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes ФК Априлци got a freekick which was hit by Lachezar Ginkov. Smalbroek's Jaap Jochemsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Smalbroek from getting a goal against them. Jaap Jochemsen was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Lachezar Ginkov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lachezar Ginkov really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. 84 minutes into the match, Smalbroek's goal looked a bit too open when Lachezar Ginkov came free, but Jaap Jochemsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Stoyadin Tzúklev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaap Jochemsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Lachezar Ginkov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jaap Jochemsen. The goal made the score 0-7. Valentin Peyanski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Jaap Jochemsen made a huge save. In the 93rdth minute of the game Lachezar Ginkov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Smalbroek's Jaap Jochemsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lachezar Ginkov in the 95th minute of play forced Smalbroek's goalkeeper Jaap Jochemsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ФК Априлци's Stoyne Mazhdrakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralph Temen in the 98th minute of play. ФК Априлци's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
