Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Károly Tolnay got the match started through his kick off. Iván Túri kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Denti della Vecchia's Matt Brandenberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebestyén Király narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sebestyén Király showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matt Brandenberg in the 6th minute of the match. Fausto Pinho made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Márton Zentay sent off a good shot on target. 9 minutes into the game, Szombathely Squirrels's Vince Sós nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto Pinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 12 minutes, Miklós Sinkó mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szombathely Squirrels and the Denti della Vecchia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Denti della Vecchia booed when Szombathely Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miklós Sinkó didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Denti della Vecchia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vince Sós was slow to take the kick. During this time Szombathely Squirrels's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Vince Sós got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fausto Pinho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Károly Tolnay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Fausto Pinho made a huge save. When Szombathely Squirrels's Vince Sós in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denti della Vecchia's goalie prevented a goal. Fausto Pinho came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Szombathely Squirrels's Vince Sós. But to his dismay, Vince Sós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 38th minute, Károly Tolnay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matt Brandenberg in the 40th minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Sebestyén Király to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when János Csongrádi put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Szombathely Squirrels fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Vince Sós succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 45th playminute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sidonius Ziegler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Károly Tolnay in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fausto Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fausto Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vince Sós in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Sebestyén Király had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matt Brandenberg. In the 57th match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lajos Domonkos to maneuver through the defense. Matt Brandenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidonius Ziegler in the 60th minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Sebestyén Király to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vince Sós, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 72 minutes, Vince Sós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szombathely Squirrels and the Denti della Vecchia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by Vince Sós. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Károly Tolnay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szombathely Squirrels's supporters rose to their feet, but Károly Tolnay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 80 minutes, Sidonius Ziegler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denti della Vecchia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidonius Ziegler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Auguste Marcolongo during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Auguste Marcolongo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Lajos Domonkos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Fausto Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Sándor Győrffy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szombathely Squirrels's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sándor Győrffy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 minutes of play, Szombathely Squirrels's Vince Sós made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Szombathely Squirrels's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
