Bonito Marschall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrej Varga, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, FC DNV Bratiskava's Daniel Záhumenský got a free kick in the 4th minute. Pavol Chmelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomáš Urbančík in the 8th minute. Václav Strnadel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Borský hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC DNV Bratiskava's Stanislav Božok got a free kick in the 16th minute. Tomáš Urbančík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute Václav Strnadel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavol Chmelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Czechia Hradec Králové's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benjamin Borský in the 30th minute. Czechia Hradec Králové's Benjamin Borský was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pavol Chmelo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Daniel Záhumenský hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Czechia Hradec Králové's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Záhumenský came free, but Bonito Marschall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Daniel Záhumenský shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonito Marschall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Tibor Partil got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bonito Marschall quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Václav Strnadel made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Tomáš Urbančík shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavol Chmelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavol Chmelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Václav Strnadel in the 73rd minute of play. After some careless play in the FC DNV Bratiskava defense, Tomáš Urbančík kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pavol Chmelo. The FC DNV Bratiskava fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavol Chmelo should have stopped the shot. A collision led to FC DNV Bratiskava getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Adam Husák hit a great ball. Václav Strnadel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Pavol Chmelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Czechia Hradec Králové was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by František Koráb to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, Czechia Hradec Králové could leave the field as winners, despite FC DNV Bratiskava having more of the ball for most of the match.
