The audience was convinced that Bjorn Gyselinx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christiaan Been was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Christiaan Been had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorre Jespers. The crowd rose to their feet as Lennart Weygaerts kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christiaan Been. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. After some careless play in the NFC Eagles 22 defense, Lennart Weygaerts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christiaan Been. The NFC Eagles 22 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christiaan Been should have stopped the shot. Christiaan Been made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bjorn Gyselinx in the 26th minute. In the 31st minute Lennart Weygaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiaan Been saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrad Cremers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cees Klein in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Ad Fundum booed when NFC Eagles 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Meijs didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when Bjorn Gyselinx came free, but Christiaan Been reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Meijs lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Cees Klein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrad Cremers having to interfere. NFC Eagles 22's Cees Klein got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jorre Jespers made the kick off in the second half. Christiaan Been showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Weygaerts in the 54th minute of the match. Bjorn Gyselinx scored 4-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christiaan Been, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, NFC Eagles 22's Andreas Deinse got a free kick in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when Bjorn Gyselinx came free, but Christiaan Been reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christiaan Been made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamie Vercalsteren in the 68th minute of play. Frans Van Landschoot kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Bjorn Gyselinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiaan Been saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christiaan Been dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Christiaan Been showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bjorn Gyselinx in the 87th minute of the match. Jorre Jespers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niels-Jan Reiling hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Christiaan Been made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bjorn Gyselinx in the 95th minute of play. Ad Fundum walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
