Dênis Laguna had great luck who in the 21stth minute grab hold of the ball when Alfredo Teles from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Thanks to some nice moves Matheus Dantas could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Dênis Laguna however easily saved by the left post. When Duarte Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tenha Dó Dó Dó's protests and gave Duarte Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. Duarte Pinheiro hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Dênis Laguna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Teles in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Tenha Dó Dó Dó getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Duarte Pinheiro hit a great ball. Dênis Laguna acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jorge Gerber. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Pinheiro in the 37th minute of play forced C.R Perhaps's goalkeeper Válter Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Válter Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo de Castro in the 41st minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Tenha Dó Dó Dó got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Madureira. Alfredo Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Paulo de Castro made a kick off. Válter Vieira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Paulo de Castro's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After 70 minutes, Nildo Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.R Perhaps and the Tenha Dó Dó Dó players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.R Perhaps the free kick. In the 83rd match minute, Tenha Dó Dó Dó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. If Matheus Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Marcel Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes, Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Patrick Azevedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Válter Vieira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tenha Dó Dó Dó reached it. Jorge Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Pearce Toledo was substituted for Patrick Azevedo. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Luiz Fabiano Linhares was substituted for Celso Meirelles. After a rather tough play, C.R Perhaps's Jorge Gerber got a free kick in the 90th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Paulo de Castro got free with Válter Vieira in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcel Maranhense during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
