After a defensive mix-up in Morros's zone, Arthur Veloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mané Abraão came out of the goal and Arthur Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mané Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Marques in the 7th minute of the match. Kléber Sá could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Luisinho Souza made a huge save. Flora's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kléber Sá 29 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. 32 minutes into the match, Morros's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Veloso came free, but Mané Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Marques took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mané Abraão. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Kléber Sá dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luisinho Souza, 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Mané Abraão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 88 played minutes Morros got a freekick which was hit by Sydney Castro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arthur Veloso got free with Mané Abraão in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mané Abraão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arthur Veloso in the 93rd minute. Arthur Veloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Mané Abraão made a huge save. In the 97th minute, Arthur Veloso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mané Abraão. The goal made the score 4-3. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Morros had won after a very even match.
