The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, MarquinhosEC's Sérgio Schmidt got a free kick in the 4th minute. 8 minutes into the game, RECOBA F.C.'s Gildo Vianna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Paulo de Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Luiz Paulo de Medeiros was a little too slow when Eugênio Trevisan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. 18 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goal looked a bit too open when Gildo Vianna came free, but Luiz Paulo de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Tepedino hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. A collision led to RECOBA F.C. getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Lino Aparecido hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, RECOBA F.C.'s Gabriel Bezerra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo Santos in the 26th minute of play forced RECOBA F.C.'s goalkeeper Rafael Maria Brzęczyszczykiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Maria Brzęczyszczykiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Maria Brzęczyszczykiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Sérgio Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Luiz Paulo Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee showed Sérgio Schmidt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to MarquinhosEC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Sérgio Schmidt hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ismael Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. RECOBA F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Trancoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Paulo de Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Paulo de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo Vianna in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Gildo Vianna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RECOBA F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Paulo Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Paulo de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo Vianna in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Bezerra came free, but Luiz Paulo de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, RECOBA F.C.'s Rafael Maria Brzęczyszczykiewicz got control of the ball when Marcos Boldrini tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Trancoso in the 61st minute of play forced MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fabiano da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Maria Brzęczyszczykiewicz having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Bezerra came free, but Luiz Paulo de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Paulo de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Gabriel Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. RECOBA F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
