The supporters of Three Lions FC booed when Zemantauskas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Augusto Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Kimmich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zemantauskas FC's Dudu Rossi got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. George Maguire ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Kléber Cerezo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Zemantauskas FC's Carlos Augusto Arósio did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco de Sousa in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dênis de Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
