Adhemar Corrêa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Paulo Lucas went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 13 minutes of play, FC La Masia's Eliézer de Lima made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adhemar Corrêa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adhemar Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer de Lima in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC La Masia's João Paulo Lucas got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes FC La Masia got a freekick which was hit by Luan Furtado. Eusébio Senna struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jano Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brasília FC. In the 25th minute of the match, Betão Sena got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jano Madureira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jano Madureira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Betão Sena's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, FC La Masia's Alexandre Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 35th minute. Reginaldo Soeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Jano Madureira made a huge save. In the 38th minute, João Paulo Lucas made a precise shot to the right of Adhemar Corrêa. Brasília FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 44th minute, Betão Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th match minute, FC La Masia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliézer de Lima to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Betão Sena made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Brasília FC got a freekick which was hit by Cafu Paraibano. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by João Paulo Lucas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Adhemar Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when João Paulo Lucas sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the game, Ricardo Zonta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Jano Madureira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When %teams%'s Eliézer de Lima was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-4 just inside the left pole, 64 minutes into the game. Adhemar Corrêa was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. After 68 played minutes Brasília FC got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Soeiro. João Paulo Lucas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Adhemar Corrêa made a huge save. João Paulo Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Corrêa having to interfere. After some careless play in the Brasília FC defense, João Paulo Lucas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adhemar Corrêa. The Brasília FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adhemar Corrêa should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Sena in the 81st minute of play forced FC La Masia's goalkeeper Jano Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Paulo Lucas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adhemar Corrêa firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Eliézer de Lima came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the FC La Masia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliézer de Lima couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle went the supporters of FC La Masia were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Brasília FC side.
