It was beautiful to see FLU ES fc's Armandinho Lara in action when he in the 23rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Bruno Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Almeida in the 26th minute of play. FLU ES fc's Roberto da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu Linhares in the 29th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Opera OMNES got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Perez. Dé Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Peixoto having to interfere. Bruno Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulista in the 36th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Opera OMNES's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Gustavo Alagoano came free, but Bruno Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dé Carioca was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Dé Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Opera OMNES's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Ismael de Andrade scored to the left of an out of position Bruno Peixoto, making the score, 0-1. 61 minutes into the match, FLU ES fc's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu Linhares came free, but Roberto da Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick da Rocha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Peixoto having to make a save. Bruno Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé Carioca in the 65th minute of the match. Luiz Paulista charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 76th minute Patrick da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Patrick da Rocha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno Peixoto, 0-3. Luiz Gustavo Alagoano charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
