Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when José Vítor Santos made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute José Vítor Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidnei Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute, José Vítor Santos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sidnei Hermes. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 6th match minute, S S Palestra Italia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisão Queirós to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luís Prestes in the 12th minute of play forced S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Luan Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Tomás Cearense seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tomás Cearense the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Floripa Lions FSCMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tomás Cearense had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Floripa Lions FSCMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of S S Palestra Italia:s goal. Sidnei Hermes had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Mateus Dionísio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goalkeeper Sidnei Hermes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Vítor Santos. Luan Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Quintal in the 26th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeferson Pinheiro during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Jeferson Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caetano Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in S S Palestra Italia's zone, Edgar Heerdt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luan Trigo came out of the goal and Edgar Heerdt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luan Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Quintal in the 35th minute of play. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Sidnei Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vítor Santos in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Luan Trigo made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Pedro Paulo Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. After 61 played minutes S S Palestra Italia got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson Pinheiro. Pedro Paulo Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Paulo Fernandes got free with Luan Trigo in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. S S Palestra Italia's Luan Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save S S Palestra Italia from getting a goal against them. The supporters of S S Palestra Italia booed when Floripa Lions FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuca Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 minutes, Caetano Santana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S S Palestra Italia and the Floripa Lions FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Caetano Santana hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Pedro Paulo Fernandess short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Luan Trigo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Olavo Pitta charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olavo Pitta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pedro Paulo Fernandes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Luan Trigo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. José Vítor Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Luan Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Paulo Fernandes. Luan Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Paulo Fernandes in the 84th minute. With a little luck, S S Palestra Italia's Luan Trigo got control of the ball when Pedro Paulo Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
