The referee ignored Rapinantes F.C.'s protests and gave Luís Paulo Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Rapinantes F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. Cauan Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joélson Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Washington Berger to make the kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nelson Neto hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Laerte da Mata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Paulo Bertassi in the 82nd minute. Sílvio Abraão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Laerte da Mata made a huge save. In the 85th minute Breno Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sílvio Abraão got free with Laerte da Mata in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, Rapinantes F.C.'s Luís Paulo Bertassi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. 94 minutes into the match, Joélson Terra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cauan Neves. Rapinantes F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joélson Terra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mala FC had won after a very even match.
