Enio do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamílton Mota in the 3rd minute of play. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Samuca Rosado scored to the left of an out of position Cássio Aparecido, making the score, 1-0. Enio do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Olavo Loyola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enio do Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 17 minutes into the game, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Olavo Loyola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enio do Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a rather tough play, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Luisão Prado got a free kick in the 21st minute. Enio do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Amadeu Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Enio do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enio do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisão Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Carlinhos Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Gracie Barra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlinhos Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Tales Machado scored 2-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cássio Aparecido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gracie Barra's Enio do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamílton Mota in the 41st minute of play. Olavo Loyola scored 2-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enio do Valle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Samuca Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Tales Machado sped through S.C. Corinthians Paulista's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cássio Aparecido. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Corinthians Paulista's Cássio Aparecido. Cássio Aparecido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Corinthians Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitório Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tales Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute Hamílton Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enio do Valle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olavo Loyola in the 69th minute. Enio do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Enio do Valle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olavo Loyola.
