In the 3rd minute, Limoeiro-PE FC's Kaba Kent dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Giga Hertz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gandalf Bilbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Dragões de Campo Grande's goalkeeper Ricardinho Moreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaba Kent. In the 10th minute, Nico Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Dragões de Campo Grande booed when Limoeiro-PE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gandalf Bilbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Gandalf Bilbo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 minutes of play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Edgar Cabral made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardinho Moreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaba Kent in the 26th minute of play forced Dragões de Campo Grande's goalkeeper Ricardinho Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Dragões de Campo Grande's goalkeeper Ricardinho Moreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lascăr de Backer. Limoeiro-PE FC's Kaba Kent managed to work through Dragões de Campo Grande's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Kaba Kent dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Ricardinho Moreira was a little too slow when Kaba Kent got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 4-0. Lascăr de Backer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Ricardinho Moreira made a huge save. After some careless play in the Limoeiro-PE FC defense, Gandalf Bilbo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giga Hertz. The Limoeiro-PE FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giga Hertz should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute Zé Paulo Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giga Hertz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Limoeiro-PE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Pires to maneuver through the defense. Dragões de Campo Grande's Kauan Messias was substituted for Rafinha Neto. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Wiliam Pires got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaba Kent stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Limoeiro-PE FC booed when Dragões de Campo Grande was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauan Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardinho Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Dragões de Campo Grande's goal looked a bit too open when Rato Ligero came free, but Ricardinho Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Limoeiro-PE FC were awarded a corner. Rato Ligero went to the cornerflag to take it. After 74 minutes of play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Kaba Kent made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardinho Moreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Alberto Paulista charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Alberto Paulista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carlos Alberto Paulista hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Zé Paulo Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardinho Moreira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Limoeiro-PE FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
