An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Motta in the 19th minute of play forced Rolo Compressor FC's goalkeeper Gerson Vianna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Giovanni Motta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerson Vianna was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. The Jenipapo SC fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Jenipapo SC's Giovanni Motta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 28 minutes into the match, Giovanni Motta notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Rolo Compressor FC's Gerson Vianna. In the 33rd minute, Giovanni Motta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerson Vianna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 39th play minute Tales Pereira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thiago Paraibano. 1-3. Thiago Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Pires in the 45th minute of the match. Hamílton Vides's late challenge caught a Jenipapo SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hamílton Vides helped the player get up and apologised. Jenipapo SC's Sidney Rodrigues was substituted for Daniel Zonta. After 49 played minutes Rolo Compressor FC got a freekick which was hit by Hamílton Vides. The Rolo Compressor FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jenipapo SC were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giovanni Motta was the one to do the kick off. Tales Pereira struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Thiago Paraibano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rolo Compressor FC. Gerson Vianna came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Laércio Ramalho. But to his dismay, Laércio Ramalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Thiago Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Endura in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Tales Pereira came free, but Thiago Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Tales Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rolo Compressor FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tales Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolo Compressor FC's Tales Marinho was substituted for Fausto Vianna. Giovanni Motta got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 77th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. Tales Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Paraibano having to interfere. The supporters of Jenipapo SC booed when Rolo Compressor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Endura didn't get a good kick on the ball.
