Locomotiva grena's Dorian Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho Leite in the 14th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Pedro Paulo Paulista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Locomotiva grena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Sandrinho Leite came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Granadero10 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandrinho Leite couldn't finish the play. After 28 played minutes Granadero10 got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Vinhas. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Augusto Fontes during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 34 minutes into the match, Sandrinho Leite had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dorian Machado. Locomotiva grena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandrinho Leite was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Sandrinho Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granadero10's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandrinho Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorian Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilberto Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After a rather tough play, Locomotiva grena's Percival Maciel got a free kick in the 56th minute. Dorian Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Trigo in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match Granadero10 got a corner. Locomotiva grena's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexsandro Cruz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Granadero10's corner Alexsandro Cruz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dorian Machado quite easily take care of the ball. When Sandrinho Leite came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Granadero10 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandrinho Leite couldn't finish the play. Dorian Machado stood somewhat misplaced when Sandrinho Leite came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 63 minute. If Caetano Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandrinho Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Dorian Machado made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Paulo Paulista in the 76th minute of play forced Granadero10's goalkeeper Sydney Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandrinho Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dorian Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandrinho Leite in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorian Machado saved Locomotiva grena from getting behind. In the 87th match minute, Granadero10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Luz to maneuver through the defense. Sydney Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Fernandez in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Sandrinho Leite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Percival Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Granadero10 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Locomotiva grena.
