An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Fantini in the 16th minute of play forced Comanche EC's goalkeeper Kukava Raas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute André Luís das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pegoraro Da Messina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernt Jønsson had several of the Comanche EC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Kukava Raas as he didn't even see the shot coming. Wesley Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Kukava Raas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palmeiras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfredão França in the 34th minute. The corner led Palmeiras's Wesley Fantini to fire away a dangerous shot which Kukava Raas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Wesley Fantini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kukava Raas was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wesley Fantini in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kukava Raas saved Comanche EC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Comanche EC's Belmiro Bezerra got a free kick in the 41st minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ian Pena's late challenge caught a Palmeiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Wesley Fantini came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Palmeiras fans jumped to their feet. Kukava Raas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Palmeiras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfredão França in the 60th minute. Alfredão França made a great header on Palmeiras's corner, it was just that Comanche EC's Kukava Raas managed to reach the ball for a save. Kukava Raas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernt Jønsson's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. André Luís das Neves took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pegoraro Da Messina. Pegoraro Da Messina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Kukava Raas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Jønsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Comanche EC booed when Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kukava Raas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Donato in the 74th minute of play. Kukava Raas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Jønsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Bernt Jønsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kukava Raas having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Wesley Fantini made a precise shot to the right of Kukava Raas. Comanche EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The audience was convinced that Bernt Jønsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kukava Raas was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Bernt Jønsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmeiras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After 90 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Donato. Comanche EC's Kukava Raas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Fantini in the 92nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Válbson Andrade sped through Palmeiras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pegoraro Da Messina. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Palmeiras fans cheered their team off the field, for while Comanche EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
