Cauã Neves's late challenge caught a Comanche EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cauã Neves helped the player get up and apologised. 12 minutes into the match, Canarinho Atordoado's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas de Barros came free, but Egídio Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Comanche EC booed when Canarinho Atordoado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Canarinho Atordoado getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Vítor Chaves hit a great ball. Anísio Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Egídio Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Tancredo in the 28th minute of play. Cauã Neves was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. Egídio Sampaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sidney Vidal went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Kukava Raas was a little too slow when Dito Zanette got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-2. After having played for 40 minutes, Dito Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canarinho Atordoado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dito Zanette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dito Zanette was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Dito Zanette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canarinho Atordoado and the Comanche EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kukava Raas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giuseppe de Moraes hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Vítor Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dito Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Dito Zanette ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kukava Raas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 74 minutes into the match, Comanche EC's goal looked a bit too open when Dito Zanette came free, but Kukava Raas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Comanche EC's zone, Dito Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kukava Raas came out of the goal and Dito Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dito Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Kukava Raas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute of the match, Caco Valadares got a very nice opportunity to score, but Egídio Sampaio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Comanche EC's Kukava Raas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Chaves in the 95th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
