In the 14th minute, Blanka FC's Acácio Veloso seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Acácio Veloso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Blanka FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Acácio Veloso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Acácio Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Diamantino Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Munhoz having to make a save. Dé de Barros's late challenge caught a Cactos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dé de Barros helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Blanka FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Dé de Barros hit a great ball. The supporters of Blanka FC booed when Cactos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diamantino Santos to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Roberto Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Blanka FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Santos came free, but José Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Célio Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Blanka FC defense, Diamantino Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Munhoz. The Blanka FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Munhoz should have stopped the shot. The Blanka FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
