Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Sousa in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adalberto Tróia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orlando Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Rossi in the 22nd minute of play. Pedro Luís Paranaense in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Orlando Dante, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 42 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Caco Rossi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar Branco in the 43rd minute of play forced Montesclarense E.C.'s goalkeeper Orlando Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Nilmar Branco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Orlando Dante. Nilmar Branco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Club Sacode Football CIMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
