Luan Trigo might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edinho Pirani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luan Trigo ran back to his position shaking his head. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Edinho Pirani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 10thth minute of the game Luiz Fabiano Orange who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corumbaense F.C.'s Jailson Loyola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edinho Pirani made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Fred Ferreira sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Ferreira got free with Edinho Pirani in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Corumbaense F.C. booed when Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedé Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Hudson de Godoi hit a great ball. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Edinho Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüseyin Turan Özerol in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Hüseyin Turan Özerol came free, but Edinho Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Corumbaense F.C.'s zone, Luiz Fabiano Orange stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jailson Loyola came out of the goal and Luiz Fabiano Orange tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corumbaense F.C.'s goalkeeper Jailson Loyola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulo Renato Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Pirani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Katarínus Orange in the 36th minute of play forced Corumbaense F.C.'s goalkeeper Jailson Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Waldemar Baptista got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 47th match minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Katarínus Orange to maneuver through the defense.

Corumbaense F.C.'s Jailson Loyola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Corumbaense F.C. from getting a goal against them. Luiz Fabiano Orange's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jailson Loyola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Edinho Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Renato Vidal in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Ruy Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edinho Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luan Trigo in the 62nd minute of the match. Rubens Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corumbaense F.C. made a substitution. Rayan Rodrigues replaced Sandrinho Maranhense. After 68 minutes of play, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Vitório Campidelis made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jailson Loyola was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 75 minutes, Paulo Renato Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corumbaense F.C. and the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Corumbaense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Renato Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Luiz Fabiano Orange got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Corumbaense F.C.'s Frank de Toledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edinho Pirani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Corumbaense F.C.'s Jailson Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 87th minute of play. Edinho Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruy Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
