When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jefferson Otto made a kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jefferson Otto couldn't finish the play. Jefferson Otto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emerson Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play.
