Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardinho Cardoso in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adriano da Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriano da Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adriano da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 31st minute of the match, Barnabé Neto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adalberto Paranaense saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Silvinho Britto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adalberto Paranaense came out and tried to block the shot, but Silvinho Britto slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the Los Hermanos CIMZ defense, Afonsinho Tasso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Buffon. The Los Hermanos CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Buffon should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Rezende FC's Caetano Freitas got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Aníbal Pimenta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rezende FC's Adalberto Paranaense didn't even have to move. Lucas Sterling hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Lucas Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Cardoso in the 48th minute of play. In the 48th minute Bernardinho Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barnabé Neto was the one to do the kick off. Caetano Freitas got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Rezende FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Caetano Freitas hit a great ball. Adalberto Paranaense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Los Hermanos CIMZ booed when Rezende FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvinho Britto might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adalberto Paranaense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvinho Britto ran back to his position shaking his head. Adalberto Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Britto in the 87th minute of play. Adalberto Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnabé Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Hermanos CIMZ's Lucas Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Los Hermanos CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
