The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Geovanni Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, Wolf's goalkeeper Edmundo Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glauco Mineiro. Wolf's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Alfredinho Vieira scored to the left of an out of position Edmundo Catarinense, making the score, 1-2. Edmundo Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceyhan Ilıcak in the 20th minute of play. Edmundo Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Ribeiro in the 24th minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Wolf's Geovanni Cordeiro made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wolf's Edmundo Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Wolf from getting a goal against them. Geovanni Cordeiro took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabiano Neto. Fabiano Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 36 minutes into the match, Wolf's goalkeeper Edmundo Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glauco Mineiro. Edmundo Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceyhan Ilıcak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ceyhan Ilıcak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Edmundo Catarinense made a huge save. After 40 minutes Wolf's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luizinho Xavier who took care of the corner kick. Geovanni Cordeiro's late challenge caught a Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geovanni Cordeiro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Uriel Porfirio got a free kick in the 47th minute. Fabiano Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Gomez in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Glauco Mineiro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Fernandinho de Godoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabiano Neto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Fabiano Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanni Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Geovanni Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandinho de Godoi in the 59th minute of play forced Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's goalkeeper Fabiano Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Pedro Ribeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmundo Catarinense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Wolf's Valentin Gomez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabiano Neto. That made the score 2-6 after 66 minutes of play. 3-6 became the score in the 69th minute when Ceyhan Ilıcak elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Edmundo Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceyhan Ilıcak, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute, Wolf's Valentin Gomez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabiano Neto. Fabiano Neto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-7. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Fabiano Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Teixeira in the 78th minute of play. Edmundo Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredinho Vieira in the 80th minute of play. Edmundo Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceyhan Ilıcak in the 81st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Paulo Neves in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmundo Catarinense saved Wolf from getting behind. Ceyhan Ilıcak's late challenge caught a Wolf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceyhan Ilıcak helped the player get up and apologised. The Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Wolf's performance. The match ended with a win for Wolf.
