The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game David Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympique Deleon's Rogério Pinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oséas Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaba Kajder in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Olympique Deleon's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Peixoto came free, but Rogério Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Militros F.C.'s Oséas Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Kajder in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Olympique Deleon were awarded a corner. Barnaba Kajder went to the cornerflag to take it. Olympique Deleon's Barnaba Kajder was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Oséas Baptista in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Oséas Baptista stood somewhat misplaced when Cheikha Fellahi came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. When Barnaba Kajder came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Olympique Deleon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barnaba Kajder couldn't finish the play. In the 31stth minute of the game Arnaldo Ortega who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympique Deleon's Rogério Pinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Betão Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barnaba Kajder in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oséas Baptista saved Militros F.C. from getting behind. 47 minutes into the game, Betão Machado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rogério Pinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barnaba Kajder was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Militros F.C. booed when Olympique Deleon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalton Ali didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olympique Deleon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Renatinho Lago was slow to take the kick. During this time Militros F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. 69 minutes into the match, Olympique Deleon's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Ortega came free, but Rogério Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dalton Ali kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Olympique Deleon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Betão Machado scored to the left of an out of position Rogério Pinho, making the score, 2-2. 77 minutes into the match, Olympique Deleon's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Ortega came free, but Rogério Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
