After a rather tough play, Sportivo Sernova's Lucio Donzel got a free kick in the 5th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Osasun in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patricio Peruxu saved Sportivo Sernova from getting behind. In the 16thth minute of the game Ildefonso Abel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Papillon AC's Keylor Navas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Keylor Navas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ildefonso Abel's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Keylor Navas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Abel, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Osasun in the 27th minute of play forced Sportivo Sernova's goalkeeper Patricio Peruxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ildefonso Abel to make the kick off.
