Romulo Sarmiento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erubiel Mitxaut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Esteban Lucian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarmiento de Resistencia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrilete Cósmico FC the free kick. Esteban Lucian kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Barrilete Cósmico FC's Generoso Txartiko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Elizardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Romulo Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Sarmiento de Resistencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Jakes in the 15th minute of play. Tobias Elizardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Jakes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Cayo to maneuver through the defense. When Hector Sarmiento fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarmiento de Resistencia's protests and gave Hector Sarmiento a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Romulo Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Erubiel Mitxaut made a huge save. Romulo Sarmiento was slow to take the kick. During this time Sarmiento de Resistencia's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Sarmiento de Resistencia's corner Romulo Sarmiento fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erubiel Mitxaut quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Sarmiento de Resistencia's Romulo Sarmiento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erubiel Mitxaut. That made the score 1-0 after 36 minutes of play. In the 40th match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Agustin Cayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romulo Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tobias Elizardo got control of the ball when Generoso Txartiko tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Romulo Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Erubiel Mitxaut. Barrilete Cósmico FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Sarmiento de Resistencia's attentive Bernabe George managed to snatch the ball when Claudio Ursino made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. Tobias Elizardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erubiel Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Lucian in the 81st minute of the match. In the 90th minute Romulo Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Mitxaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Ignado was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Barrilete Cósmico FC's Julian Ignado got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Sarmiento de Resistencia were victorious despite being under pressure from Barrilete Cósmico FC for much of the match.
