Martin Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Abascal in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Rosendo Eufemio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Gerazan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Gerazan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Lauren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C. A. BELGRANO were furious when Rigoberto Raymundo was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Sporting Club Victoria booed when C. A. BELGRANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Raymundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. BELGRANO's zone, Cayetano Goiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Rito came out of the goal and Cayetano Goiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd match minute, C. A. BELGRANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Ledesma to maneuver through the defense. Sporting Club Victoria's Alvaro Gerazan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Eufemio in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Lauren came free, but Alvaro Gerazan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Gerazan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Lauren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Gerazan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Lauren in the 39th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teo Lauren during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, Teo Lauren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Club Victoria's zone, Rosendo Eufemio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Gerazan came out of the goal and Rosendo Eufemio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teo Lauren took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Gerazan. Alvaro Gerazan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After the first half C. A. BELGRANO were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

55 minutes into the match, Roberto Endura notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of C. A. BELGRANO's Martin Rito. Martin Rito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th minute, Teo Lauren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvaro Gerazan. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 67th minute Felipe Galindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Rito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Bonifaco kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Alvaro Gerazan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Eufemio in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Lauren in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Gerazan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, Isaias Bonifaco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Bonifaco in the 81st minute of play forced Sporting Club Victoria's goalkeeper Alvaro Gerazan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Galindo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Martin Rito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Club Victoria. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Abascal in the 88th minute of play forced C. A. BELGRANO's goalkeeper Martin Rito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Gerazan made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Isaias Bonifaco sent off a good shot on target. Alvaro Gerazan made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Teo Lauren sent off a good shot on target. C. A. BELGRANO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
