Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fermin Precioso in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silverio Modestio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Mapovihesa FC's Gabriel Fernandez got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Aires in the 21st minute of play forced Caricancha's goalkeeper Elias Milio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Hernan Scalarandi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Elias Milio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute, Arsenio Atarratze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Mapovihesa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Goi came free, but Silverio Modestio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mapovihesa FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ismael Pancho hit a great ball. Elias Milio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Scalarandi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The Mapovihesa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silverio Modestio should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute, Tiburcio Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
