An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Miro in the 7th minute of play forced Red Bull Crystallis's goalkeeper Lucas Bastia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Bastia made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Mauro Astudillo sent off a good shot on target. Lucas Bastia was a little too slow when Mauro Astudillo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Teodosio Raymundo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Bastia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Roberto Bizen struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Silverio Cordara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Bull Crystallis. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Astudillo in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Bastia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 30 in the game by Mauro Astudillo from a close distance when the talented Lucas Bastia managed to make a qualified save. Red Bull Crystallis's players were relieved. 32 minutes into the match, Red Bull Crystallis's goalkeeper Lucas Bastia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Astudillo. After a rather tough play, C.A.Esparta's Leonel Fagildo got a free kick in the 39th minute. Mauro Astudillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Lucas Bastia made a huge save. Red Bull Crystallis's Emanuel Salvator pulled a muscle in his leg after 46 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 46 minutes, Teodosio Raymundo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Esparta and the Red Bull Crystallis players grew even worse after the yellow card. Red Bull Crystallis's Celestino Petrigai was substituted for Emanuel Salvator.

The wind increased when Erasmo Orlondo made the kick off in the second half. Red Bull Crystallis's Erasmo Orlondo got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Godfredo Nuñez kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match, Roberto Bizen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Silverio Cordara saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 61 minutes into the game, Red Bull Crystallis's Erasmo Orlondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silverio Cordara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Mauro Astudillo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Lucas Bastia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silverio Cordara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erasmo Orlondo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 72 minute of play. After 85 played minutes C.A.Esparta got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Raymundo. Godfredo Nuñez's late challenge caught a Red Bull Crystallis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Nuñez helped the player get up and apologised. Godfredo Nuñez hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Roberto Bizen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Cordara having to interfere. The C.A.Esparta players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
