Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Marcelino Basajaun started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Marcelino Basajaun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sonny Safer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Javier Salvatore fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wasabi FC's protests and gave Javier Salvatore a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Javier Salvatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santo Txurio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Pes went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Deportivo Luz y Fuerza booed when Wasabi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wasabi FC's Sonny Safer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Wasabi FC from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's zone, Santiago Pes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Txurio came out of the goal and Santiago Pes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Wasabi FC's Javier Salvatore got a free kick in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Wasabi FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
