Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Pan FC's Ildefonso Marcones started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 minutes of play, C. A. Atlanta's Fernando Carrasqueira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romulo Sal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvano Rudolfo in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romulo Sal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Pan FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Kamal Hamilton-Maurice hit a great ball. C. A. Atlanta's attentive Fernando Carrasqueira managed to snatch the ball when Fabian Quinteros made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Rudolfo in the 22nd minute of play forced Pan FC's goalkeeper Romulo Sal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romulo Sal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Rudolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Lionel-Andrés Massi kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ildefonso Marcones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Guimarães having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ildefonso Marcones got free with Tony Guimarães in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute Astor Belarmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pan FC's Romulo Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Rudolfo in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Pan FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ildefonso Marcones hit a great ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Fernando Carrasqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Carrasqueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tony Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Marcones, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Ildefonso Marcones's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tony Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Pan FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luciano Nevada in the 65th minute. Ildefonso Marcones's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tony Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Romulo Sal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hipolito Frasquito in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Marcones had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Guimarães. C. A. Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ildefonso Marcones was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A throw-in in the 89th minute of the game was made by Silverio Eutropio with Silvano Rudolfo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Silvano Rudolfo took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romulo Sal. Romulo Sal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C. A. Atlanta eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
