An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Iyan in the 6th minute of play forced Cervezanegra A.C.'s goalkeeper Delmiro Pitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roman Iza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cervezanegra A.C. were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Rio Gallegos Unidos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clemente Olentzaro took the corner. If Everardo Sotero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Iza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Sotero in the 15th minute of play. Bernardino Vedillos short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Roman Iza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 18 in the game by Bernardino Vedillo from a close distance when the talented Roman Iza managed to make a qualified save. Rio Gallegos Unidos's players were relieved. Cesar Belo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Pitin having to interfere. Delmiro Pitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Mancio in the 23rd minute of play. Paulino Mancio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Everardo Sotero struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Roman Iza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cervezanegra A.C.. Bernardino Vedillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 played minutes Cervezanegra A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Raulo. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Iyan was the one to do the kick off. Feliberto Joanes hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Cervezanegra A.C.'s Delmiro Pitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Belo in the 53rd minute of play. In the 61st minute of the match, Oscar Iyan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Delmiro Pitin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 64th minute, Jonatan Gorbea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Everardo Sotero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Iza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardino Vedillo in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Iza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72ndth minute of the game Bernardino Vedillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rio Gallegos Unidos's Roman Iza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Belo during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Oscar Iyan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio Gallegos Unidos's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Iyan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmiro Pitin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Genaro Pacorro kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Rio Gallegos Unidos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
