Padrón 1744's Lino Ganix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Nuñez in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Padrón 1744's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Cidro came free, but Lino Ganix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Ganix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Cidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Javier Pastore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Ganix having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovando Telch got free with Silverio Sanson in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Characate FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Faustino Txurio was slow to take the kick. During this time Padrón 1744's players had a chance to rest. Padrón 1744's Faustino Txurio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silverio Sanson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovando Telch got free with Silverio Sanson in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute Javier Pastore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Ganix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodosio Nuñez kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Lino Ganix came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Characate FC's Igor Cidro. But to his dismay, Igor Cidro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Txurio got free with Silverio Sanson in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 45 played minutes Characate FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Nuñez. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Cidro was the one to do the kick off. Ovando Telch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Sanson having to interfere. Silverio Sanson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Txurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Padrón 1744's goalkeeper Lino Ganix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Manex. Ovando Telch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Sanson having to interfere. Anselmo Manex hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Igor Cidro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lino Ganix firmly grabbed it by the left post. Igor Cidro scored 0-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lino Ganix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Padrón 1744's goalkeeper Lino Ganix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Javier Pastore. 83 minutes into the match, Padrón 1744's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Pastore came free, but Lino Ganix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Sanson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Txurio in the 84th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Characate FC defense, Faustino Txurio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silverio Sanson. The Characate FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silverio Sanson should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Faustino Txurio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Padrón 1744's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Txurio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Sanson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Pastore got free with Lino Ganix in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Characate FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
