The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Andoni Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Rywin in the 9th minute of the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Cesar Macario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1984 Castelli Futbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Macario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Chiarelli came free, but Andoni Zubizarreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Edu Atila successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cesar Macario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Andoni Zubizarreta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Spams's Abel Mazza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Edu Atila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang Li Kang, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Andoni Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Gombal in the 25th minute of play. After 29 played minutes 1984 Castelli Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Ubarna. Edu Atila made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Abel Mazza sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the game, Antonio Gombal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1984 Castelli Futbol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spams the free kick. A collision led to 1984 Castelli Futbol getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Antonio Gombal hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, 1984 Castelli Futbol's goalkeeper Edu Atila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jiang Li Kang. Agustin Donio kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Fernando Geofredo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Edu Atila acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Roland Bobrowski. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Ernesto Chinto came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Spams fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Chinto couldn't finish the play. After 74 minutes of play, Spams's Ernesto Chinto made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edu Atila was left in no man's land by his defense there!
