Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zarando Eguizabal in the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, RAMBO FC's Tello Picado got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Paredes Campderros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Bordonoba during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Marcelo Bordonoba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lauren Foronda hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zarando Eguizabal in the 15th minute of play forced RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th match minute, Astillero del Guayas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paredes Campderros to maneuver through the defense. Paredes Campderros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez having to interfere. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zarando Eguizabal in the 21st minute of play. With his leg Bohórquez Doblas managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when RAMBO FC's Erasto Cobo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jaizki Chirivoga hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marques Martin in the 33rd minute of play. After 40 played minutes RAMBO FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaizki Chirivoga. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Erasto Cobo made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, RAMBO FC's Marcelo Bordonoba got a free kick in the 51st minute. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulizes Sola in the 59th minute. When Marcelo Bordonoba was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zarando Eguizabal in the 65th minute. RAMBO FC's Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zarando Eguizabal in the 73rd minute of play. Zarando Eguizabal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Ruperto Ufret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joam Serrano charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joam Serrano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joam Serrano hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When Paredes Campderros was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. A collision led to Astillero del Guayas getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Paredes Campderros hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Erasto Cobo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bohórquez Doblas. Astillero del Guayas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erasto Cobo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Many of Astillero del Guayas's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Astillero del Guayas may have spent more time on the ball, but RAMBO FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
