SPEO F.C.'s Ladislao Ieltxu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save SPEO F.C. from getting a goal against them. The supporters of La Mandarina Mecánica booed when SPEO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Gudesteo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mano Abello struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ladislao Ieltxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Mandarina Mecánica. The audience was convinced that Argi Abad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ladislao Ieltxu was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Ladislao Ieltxu came out of the goal and Sayvion Aballe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 played minutes La Mandarina Mecánica got a freekick which was hit by Estevam Abellaneda. SPEO F.C.'s Cristobal Gartzea got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute Argi Abad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Ieltxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Mandarina Mecánica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mano Abello in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Txilar Abeita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Ieltxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Cristobal Gartzea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Argi Abad to make the kick off. Norberto Elixio hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Pinone Parada fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SPEO F.C.'s protests and gave Pinone Parada a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes SPEO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pinone Parada. La Mandarina Mecánica made a substitution. Sancho Abeitia replaced Mano Abello. Pinone Parada hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The supporters of SPEO F.C. booed when La Mandarina Mecánica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constancio Abecia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 85 minutes into the game, when Rojelio Abeijon put in a rough tackle. In the 85th match minute, La Mandarina Mecánica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rojelio Abeijon to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Txatxu got free with Perico Abellaneda in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to La Mandarina Mecánica getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Constancio Abecia hit a great ball. The attack was good, but when Constancio Abecia in the 96th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
