Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cory Kirkland took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Cory Kirkland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CERRO PORTEÑO's Xever Anievas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Cory Kirkland put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Xever Anievas. Orlo Rujula took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Segundo Gol. Segundo Gol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. CERRO PORTEÑO's Xever Anievas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save CERRO PORTEÑO from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in New England Minas's zone, Xabat Lariz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Gol came out of the goal and Xabat Lariz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xever Anievas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Cabezon in the 20th minute. The supporters of New England Minas booed when CERRO PORTEÑO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Cando didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xabat Lariz in the 24th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Segundo Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CERRO PORTEÑO's Xever Anievas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save CERRO PORTEÑO from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes into the match, Chris Cabezon notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of CERRO PORTEÑO's Xever Anievas. Xever Anievas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 42 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Dirk Hatfield. After a defensive mix-up in New England Minas's zone, Orlo Rujula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Gol came out of the goal and Orlo Rujula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CERRO PORTEÑO's Xever Anievas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Cabezon in the 45th minute of play. Xever Anievas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cory Kirkland showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 46 minute of play.

CERRO PORTEÑO's Astor Sobrido was substituted for Claude Ebro. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xabat Lariz was the one to do the kick off. CERRO PORTEÑO's Xever Anievas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cory Kirkland in the 53rd minute of play. When Astor Sobrido fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CERRO PORTEÑO's protests and gave Astor Sobrido a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Astor Sobrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Cabezon in the 81st minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Xever Anievas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, New England Minas's Cory Kirkland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xever Anievas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Cory Kirkland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Chris Cabezon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes CERRO PORTEÑO got a freekick which was hit by Astor Sobrido. In the 96th match minute, CERRO PORTEÑO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Sobrido to maneuver through the defense. 8-1 became the score in the 97th minute when Cory Kirkland elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
