Deporte Provincial Osorno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Arenillas the free kick. Christian Fehrman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zambrano Llanderrozos in the 43rd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 85 played minutes Deporte Provincial Osorno got a freekick which was hit by Paco Gaviño. Roman Barrufet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Davy, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Darío Allison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Roman Barrufet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute Zambrano Llanderrozos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Fehrman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
