Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) CON-E-CO's Gilesindo Tarapiella started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes CON-E-CO got a freekick which was hit by Bernebe Sotes. Reyes Ritter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bibiano Barbosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. When CON-E-CO's Gilesindo Tarapiella in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Errol Sharpe made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Gilesindo Tarapiella sent off a good shot on target. Servando Ariste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Santos FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Anthony Wall hit a great ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Gilesindo Tarapiella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santos FC's Errol Sharpe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilesindo Tarapiella in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Errol Sharpe saved Santos FC from getting behind. Bibiano Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Jewell in the 26th minute of the match. Bibiano Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Jewell in the 30th minute of play. CON-E-CO's Bibiano Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Coulter in the 33rd minute of play. Errol Sharpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Escajadillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reyes Ritter might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bibiano Barbosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reyes Ritter ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Anthony Wall got a free kick in the 39th minute. The supporters of Santos FC booed when CON-E-CO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martinez Armesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Gilesindo Tarapiella was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CON-E-CO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santos FC the free kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giuseppe Jewell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Gilesindo Tarapiella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Errol Sharpe was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Giuseppe Jewell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Bibiano Barbosa made a huge save. After 59 minutes, Homer Diggs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santos FC and the CON-E-CO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Homer Diggs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of CON-E-CO booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Wall didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the game, CON-E-CO's Servando Ariste nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Errol Sharpe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Bernebe Sotes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Errol Sharpe having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Santos FC's zone, Gilesindo Tarapiella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Errol Sharpe came out of the goal and Gilesindo Tarapiella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilesindo Tarapiella in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Errol Sharpe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Errol Sharpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Servando Ariste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Errol Sharpe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilesindo Tarapiella's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Errol Sharpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernebe Sotes in the 91st minute of the match. The CON-E-CO supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Santos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Santos FC.
