Nelson Tapia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galsino Briñas in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Spartans FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleazar Picado to maneuver through the defense. Nelson Tapia made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Caleb Zegarra sent off a good shot on target. Caleb Zegarra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Nelson Tapia made a huge save. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Spartans FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benet Baizan was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Inkas's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Los Inkas's Fortunato Muela to fire away a dangerous shot which Nelson Tapia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bruno Zegarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xaime Hinojosa in the 24th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Elias Zegarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute of the match Daniel Barba sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Zegarra skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Galsino Briñas in the 26th minute of play forced Spartans FC's goalkeeper Nelson Tapia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Galsino Briñas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Tapia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes, Elear Socho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spartans FC and the Los Inkas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Spartans FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Elear Socho hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Spartans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Zegarra came free, but Nelson Tapia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco José Vidal was the one to do the kick off. Francisco José Vidals short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Bruno Zegarra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Los Inkas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Francisco José Vidal scored to the left of an out of position Bruno Zegarra, making the score, 0-1. In the 58th minute Xaime Hinojosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Zegarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco José Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Bruno Zegarra made a huge save. Bruno Zegarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xaime Hinojosa in the 64th minute of play. After 84 minutes, Montrel Lisundia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Inkas and the Spartans FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Los Inkas made a substitution. Nestor Sagrario replaced Montrel Lisundia. Montrel Lisundia kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Bruno Zegarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco José Vidal in the 86th minute of the match. After 87 minutes Los Inkas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Barba who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Xaime Hinojosa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Spartans FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
