When Primitivo Baeza fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carpasús FC - FDC's protests and gave Primitivo Baeza a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Carpasús FC - FDC got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Baeza. A hard shot by Iban Abecia from long distance, 11 minutes into the match, got Kevin Mier's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Roegelio Abeita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casado Mondrevilla in the 14th minute of play. If Lastur Mestanza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roegelio Abeita came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Carpasús FC - FDC's Robustiano Criales. But to his dismay, Robustiano Criales quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Laurendi Abendano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Kevin Mier made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Abalos in the 32nd minute of play forced Carpasús FC - FDC's goalkeeper Kevin Mier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Carpasús FC - FDC's Robustiano Criales sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roegelio Abeita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kevin Mier made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Francisco Abalos sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the game, Francisco Abalos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kevin Mier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tohias Abeita's late challenge caught a Carpasús FC - FDC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 40th match minute, El Pulpo Paceño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tohias Abeita to maneuver through the defense. In the 41stth minute of the game Tohias Abeita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carpasús FC - FDC's Kevin Mier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through a series of nice moves, El Pulpo Paceño's Iban Abecia on his own came free in the 49th minute of the match and shot 2-2 behind a disappointed Kevin Mier. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tohias Abeita to make the kick off. After 80 played minutes, El Pulpo Paceño's Iban Abecia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kevin Mier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Pulpo Paceño reached it. Carpasús FC - FDC's Kevin Mier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Abalos in the 84th minute of play. Robustiano Criales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Roegelio Abeita made a huge save.
