Giuseppe Baresi's late challenge caught a Recolta Alamor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giuseppe Baresi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Socavon FC's Giuseppe Baresi got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Socavon FC's goalkeeper Ieltxu Orbaneja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norman Donnelly. Socavon FC's Ieltxu Orbaneja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren Stanley in the 8th minute of play. Grigore Proca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Intxixu Huarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grigore Proca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Intxixu Huarte in the 9th minute of play. Grigore Proca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Intxixu Huarte in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darren Stanley in the 16th minute of play forced Socavon FC's goalkeeper Ieltxu Orbaneja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Intxixu Huarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Grigore Proca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Intxixu Huarte in the 22nd minute of play. Ieltxu Orbaneja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theodore Cagle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Chris Bateman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ieltxu Orbaneja made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Norman Donnelly sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the match, Recolta Alamor's goal looked a bit too open when Oxarra Guillemez came free, but Grigore Proca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Ieltxu Orbaneja successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 47 minutes, Theron Creech mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Recolta Alamor and the Socavon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Theron Creech kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Oxarra Guillemez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Socavon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oxarra Guillemez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Intxixu Huarte to strike the kick off in the second half. Oxarra Guillemez kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Grigore Proca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santo Pablo in the 71st minute. Grigore Proca didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Socavon FC's Intxixu Huarte shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 96 minutes, Darren Stanley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Recolta Alamor and the Socavon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Socavon FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
