With his leg Arnold Steward managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Res Non Verba's Narciso Agudiez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aritza Boveda's late challenge caught a Stowe City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Despite this Arnold Steward quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
