Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chus Carreira started the match with the kick off. Cresconio Carreño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salomone Liendo in the 8th minute of play. In the 9thth minute of the game Lolo Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CSD Concepción's Nicolás Villamil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Deportivo ScrugenFC booed when CSD Concepción was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Rigazzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolás Villamil came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo ScrugenFC's Orland Villadiego. But to his dismay, Orland Villadiego quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 16th minute, Gualberto Abbatte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSD Concepción fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 19 played minutes CSD Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Rigazzi. 24 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalkeeper Cresconio Carreño had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florinio Sales. Cresconio Carreño made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Florinio Sales sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th match minute, Deportivo ScrugenFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeng Jian Cheng to maneuver through the defense. Gualberto Abbatte kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Lolo Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás Villamil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CSD Concepción's zone, Chus Carreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolás Villamil came out of the goal and Chus Carreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute, CSD Concepción's Salomone Liendo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cresconio Carreño. Cresconio Carreño yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 47th minute, Lolo Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 54th minute, Inocencio Gacitúa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, CSD Concepción's goalkeeper Nicolás Villamil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chus Carreira. Cresconio Carreño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florinio Sales in the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Deportivo ScrugenFC got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Valderrama. Salomone Liendo struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Cresconio Carreño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSD Concepción. CSD Concepción made a substitution. Onur Ali Cespan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cresconio Carreño read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. With a little luck, CSD Concepción's Nicolás Villamil got control of the ball when Iigo Solares tried to sneak it across the goal line.
