The supporters of Dunamis booed when Vancouver Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Kiwior didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulgencio Rubio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Dunamis's zone, Rodrigo Ferdinand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Rubio came out of the goal and Rodrigo Ferdinand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vancouver Reds's Louie Mulford was substituted for Rodrigo Ferdinand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Niva in the 25th minute of play forced Dunamis's goalkeeper Fulgencio Rubio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Palos could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Santana Armada however easily saved by the left post. Dunamis's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baba Lon in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Dunamis's zone, Wágner Recife stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Rubio came out of the goal and Wágner Recife tried to chip the ball over his head. Santana Armada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Uhin in the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Dunamis's Natalio Leheren got a free kick in the 84th minute. With a little luck, Dunamis's Fulgencio Rubio got control of the ball when Saverio Niva tried to sneak it across the goal line.
